Hostess Apricot Fruit Pie Copycat
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ - 2 cups GOOD GOOD Apricot Jam
- 2 apricots, sliced
- 1 box (2 sheets) frozen puff pastry
- 1 large egg, beaten
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees° F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into 3 even pieces vertically.
- Spoon 3 tablespoons of GOOD GOOD Apricot Jam onto each of the 3 bottom rectangles. Add fresh sliced apricots into the jam. Place puff pastry over filling and seal. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal shut. Repeat the rest of the pies.
- Using a pastry brush, brush pies with the egg wash then sprinkle with coarse sugar of your choice.
- Bake pastry pies, rotating baking sheet once or twice, until tops are golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
- Let cool on the pan until ready to handle and serve immediately.
