Looking for a dessert that’s easy to make, low in sugar, and guaranteed to be a hit? This strawberry poke cake is made with GOOD GOOD Strawberry Jam and a zero sugar cake mix to keep things simple and sweet.
Whether you're planning a backyard cookout, bringing dessert to a potluck, or just want something fun and nostalgic, this cake delivers. Light, fluffy, and full of real fruit flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 box Zero Sugar Classic Yellow or Vanilla Cake Mix
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 jar GOOD GOOD Strawberry Jam
- 1 container sugar-free whipped topping (8 oz)
- Optional: fresh strawberries for garnish
Directions
- Preheat your oven and prepare the cake mix following the instructions on the box. Bake in a 9x13-inch pan and let it cool for about 15 minutes.
- Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake. The more holes you make, the more jam soaks in.
- Warm the jar of GOOD GOOD Strawberry Jam in a saucepan or microwave until pourable. Pour it over the cake and spread evenly so it seeps into the holes.
- Let the cake cool completely in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Once chilled, spread the whipped topping evenly across the surface.
- Top with fresh sliced strawberries if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy.
Pro Tip
Make it the night before. The jam settles in overnight, making the cake even more flavorful and moist.
